All orders are hand poured. Usually we ship within 3 business days. However due to the fact that we hand pour all candles, at times it can take up to 10 business days to ship your items.

Glasgow Girls Candle Company stands behind our product. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with our product, we will exchange your candle(s) for a different candle(s) to ensure your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Exchange / Return Policy

1) If you wish to exchange your candle(s), please call 971-373-4065 within 30 days of receiving your candles.

2) You must have not burned more than 5% to 7% of your candle. (Believe it or not, we have had people burn over 50% of a candle, then wish to “exchange” for a new one!)

3) If you would like to exchange or return an item for any reason please enclose your invoice and merchandise in the original packaging. Send the box to us via UPS or insured mail to the address below. We cannot accept returns sent C.O.D.

4) Glasgow Girls Candle Company reserves the right to refuse service to customers who are blatantly attempting to abuse this policy. Make sure you read our policy “soy vs. paraffin” to read about how to properly burn soy candles.

Shipping and Handling:

All orders are hand poured and we strive to ship within 3 business days. However due to the fact that we hand pour all candles, at times it can take up to 10 business days to ship your items.

Shipping and Handling Policy
All orders are shipped via UPS. We are closed on weekends and holidays and do not ship during these times. Local customers may save shipping costs by picking up orders. Order pickup is by appointment only giving at least 24 hours notice. Orders are downloaded several times a day. We try to ship orders the same day they are received, but sometimes it isn't possible due to order volume - so please allow at least two business days to process your order.

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be changed. Any additions to your order will be treated as a new order and shipped separately.

We do not ship orders on weekends or holidays. Do not count these days towards your total ship time. Point of departure is Oregon. If you live on the East Coast, your ship time is at least 4-7 business days in transit which does not include processing time in our warehouse. If you need your shipment by a certain date, please allow sufficient time for your order to reach you. Overnight, 2 Day and 3 Day deliveries are available should you need expedited service.

Again, we utilize USPS and USP for our orders. We do not ship UPS Collect, UPS Third Party, or to UPS Account #'s other than our own. Please understand all ordering and shipping procedures before you place your order. You will receive an email with your shipment tracking number as soon as your package leaves us. This email will give you an estimated delivery date.

Special Note regarding shipping Fragrance Oils
For Domestic and International Mail, the Post Office defines the following:
Liquids above 200°F are not considered hazardous.
Combustible Liquids are those with a flashpoint between 141°F - 199°F.
Flammable Liquids are defined as those with a flashpoint below 141°F.

NOTE: ADDITIONAL UPS FEES
When you place an order, please be very careful to list your complete shipping address and take time to verify that it is correct. This can save you money and get your order to you more quickly. If you are having a package shipped to your place of business/work, please be sure to list the company name in the Delivery address info so that we may ship TO you in care of your company/business.


We can only ship to the address we are given. If we ship to the address you list and the package is returned to us, you are responsible for any additional shipping charges plus the cost to reship to you again. If you list an incorrect address and UPS does an address correction, they charge an address correction fee. This fee is typically $5.00-$10.00, but can be as high as $35.00. You are responsible for this fee if it is a result of an error you made when entering your address/shipping information OR if you contact UPS and ask that the package be delivered elsewhere.

If you don't list your address with the appropriate apartment number, suite number, mobile home lot #, floor number, etc., UPS will charge the aforementioned address correction fee.

For all of the above reasons, please take a moment to double check your address and be sure to list whether your address is a STREET, AVENUE, LANE, CIRCLE, COURT, BLVD, etc. It can make a difference!

Any and all fees incurred as a result of your order and its shipping must be paid before future orders can be filled. When an order is paid for by credit card, additional fees incurred will be charged to this same credit card. If you place an order and we have a pending charge on file for you, it will be added to the new order before payment is processed.

OUT of STOCK ITEMS

If we are unable to fulfill your order will be listed as OUT OF STOCK, unless an item is unavailable for more than a month. Items unavailable for more than a month will be issued a credit.

External and concealed shipping damages:

We do our absolute best to package tightly and securely. However, if you have breakage in your order please contact Glasgow Girls Candle Company and the shipping carrier immediately. You MUST save your original packaging materials in order to file a claim. UPS often requires an inspection of the damaged goods. Keep all boxes, containers and broken items for inspection.  Proof of breakage must be made to the carrier, so it is imperative all original packaging materials are saved. We cannot replace breakage due to shipper at our expense. All items leave us in excellent condition and responsibility for the package ends when it leaves our hands.

 

Any refused shipments will be billed shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee will be incurred.

Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Pacific time zone) excluding Holidays.

Payments Methods & Policies
We use paypal as our primary payment system.  We do not accept Money Orders or any other forms of payment other than listed above. We do not ship orders COD.

If your credit card is declined more than once you may be charged a Manual Order Processing Fee (up to $6.00) which will be charged to your credit card. You understand, agree to this fee and authorize its charge by placing an order on our site. WARNING: If your credit card is Declined more than three times your IP address will be banned from this site for fraud protection purposes.

We are not responsible for delays in order processing due to declined credit cards.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
